On your way out, stop at Sesriem canyon, and go for a rock pool swim to cool from the blistering sun above.

Take a trip into the desert to see the small five with experienced guides, drive to sandwich harbour on a road less travelled, with its desert mysteries, or climb on the back of a camel and let the Bedouin in you lose! The guided drives take a full day, while camel rides are about an hour, there are also options for fatbike desert trips, or quad-bike tours.
Departing from the Mole in Swakopmund, boat trips generally stay within view of the coast. You can request either a scenic trip or experience some Atlantic boat fishing with our experienced skipper. Boat trips generally last about three hours, but it does depend on the weather. Take jackets, as the wind on the Atlantic can get very cold.
